After a Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts walkthrough video posted on IGN caused mass hysteria due to Microsoft Game Studios creative director Ken Lobb noting in the video that players can “twist the controller” to move things about in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, Rare has issued a statement to clarify the situation.
“There’s no truth to the Banjo motion control rumour. Banjo has been designed to be played using a gamepad from the outset.
“People shouldn’t take rumours that gestate in comments sections so seriously. They can often turn out to be red herrings, as is the case with Banjo and motion controls.”
So there you have it. It looks like you’re going to have to make do with the standard Xbox 360 controller when playing Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, unless Rare has implanted mind control and we just haven’t been told about it yet.
