There was a time when Rare games were exclusive to Nintendo platforms, and one of those games was Diddy Kong Racing for the Nintendo 64. Since Microsoft bought the developer, their output for Nintendo consoles has been limited to the Game Boy Advance, but it has been revealed that Diddy Kong Racing is in development at Rare for the Nintendo DS.

The game is said to make good use of the system’s touch screen and microphone, and will feature game sharing and multiplayer play for up to eight players. Look for more on the game in the coming months.
