Ubisoft will unveil plans for Rainbow Six Siege’s Season 2 DLC during a live broadcast this Friday, 22 April, it’s been revealed.

Responding to multiple users asking for info on the upcoming content, the Rainbow Six Twitter explained that the team “will have a special reveal for Season 2 during the 22APR Pro League live stream”. It then linked users to the Rainbow Six Twitch channel.

According to an earlier roadmap, Season 2 had been due to launch in April, with two further seasons of content arriving in July and October 2016 respectively. Each season is expected to include two new characters, one new map, and new weapons, with all content available to unlock free via in-game currency.

Season 2 is expected to be themed around the United States, with Season 3 and 4 themed on Brazil and Japan. Season 1, Operation Black Ice, released in February, slightly later than planned.
