This week’s Rainbow Six Siege beta will run at 1080p on PS4 and 900p on Xbox One – the same resolution as September’s closed beta, Ubisoft has confirmed.

While Ubisoft states that it is “still looking to push the hardware as much as possible”, the beta’s proximity to the full game’s release suggests that the final game may also run at the same specifications.

On PC, the resolution “will vary between 720p and 1080p depending on your configuration”.

Rainbow Six Siege’s open beta is due to go live on PS4, Xbox One and PC later today to previous Closed Beta players, before opening up to all users at around 10am EST (3pm GMT) tomorrow.

The beta will run for six days before coming to a close on Sunday, November 29.

The full game, meanwhile, releases next Tuesday, December 1.
