Rainbow Six Siege’s multiplayer beta will run at 1080p on PS4 and 900p on Xbox One, Ubisoft has confirmed. The game is expected to run at 60fps on both platforms.

On PC, the beta will vary between 720p and 1080p “depending on your configuration”. Full system requirements can be found here.

Ubisoft is still working on optimising the game between now and release, however, suggesting it may be able to boost the Xbox One version’s resolution in time for launch.

“We’re still looking to push the hardware as much as possible in order to deliver a quality experience for players and will be able to share more about the final resolution once we’re closer to release date,” an FAQ posted on the Rainbow Six website says.

Earlier today, Ubisoft warned players to expect some matchmaking issues throughout the beta test, telling users that they may only have “about a 60% chance to start a match successfully”. It also said that beta invites would roll out in waves, and that not all players would be given access today.

Rainbow Six Siege’s closed beta launches later today on PS4, Xbox One and PC, with a full release due on December 1.
