Tennis games on the DS aren’t exactly abundant, and what is available hasn’t exactly excited anyone, but Codemasters is hoping to change this with the release of Rafa Nadal Tennis.

The game will feature stylus control for player movement and shots. By sweeping the stylus across the screen players will be able to pull off moves such as serves, lobs, drop shots, powershots and more. If you’re finding that too difficult, the option is there to switch to more traditional control using the d-pad.

Rafa Nadal Tennis will also include a variety of game modes, including a 20-tournament career, training, and single-cart wireless play for up to four players.

The game will be available for the Nintendo DS on December 27.
