In a showdown pitting gamers vs. developers, those taking part have the chance to be selected as one of the lucky PGR 100. As well as being a great honour to have bestowed upon a person, the PGR 100 will also win a limited edition Project Gotham Racing 3 black-finished Xbox 360 console. Simply beating the developers isn’t going to be enough to win a place in the PGR 100 though – the guys from Bizarre Creations will be looking for flair (Woooooo!), style and finesse.
To take part in the developer showdown you need to ensure the following gamertags are added to your friends list. For PGR3 you need to add PGR100 1 and PGR100 2, and for those taking part in PGR2 races you need to add PGR100 3 and PGR100 4. Then all you have to do is log onto Xbox Live on March 1 from 18:00 GMT until 20:00 and check to see if you are invited to a game.
“We are really looking forward to taking part in the Developer Showdown event and helping to select some members of the PGR 100. Ben and I will have to make sure we brush up on our Project Gotham Racing skills so we don’t get beaten too badly by the Xbox Live members!” said Gareth Wilson, Design Manager at Bizarre Creations.
