MCV reports that the launch of Wii Fit this morning has seen queues form nationwide as consumers headed into stores to pick up Nintendo's latest mass market title.

According to the trade publication the game's launch has been met with a massive advertising push, including a cover wrap in this morning's Metro newspaper. Other media outlets are said to feature similar high profile advertising features.

Wii Fit has hit stores only days before the highly anticipated launch of Grand Theft Auto IV, in a week which could prove to be one of the most lucrative in retail history.
