The release date for Xbox One shooter Quantum Break could be announced during Microsoft’s Gamescom press conference tomorrow, according to a tease from Xbox chief Phil Spencer.
Spencer hinted at the announcement on Twitter, telling one fan looking for news on a date that he thinks he will “be happy” with tomorrow’s event.
“Will we get a firm release date for quantum brake at gamescom?” asked Twitter user VagelisVala. “The wait has been a bit sureal [sic].”
“You’ll see on Tuesday,” Spencer replied. “I think you’ll be happy.”
The first gameplay footage of Quantum Break’s time-bending shooting was first revealed at Gamescom last year, with more expected to be shown tomorrow.
Microsoft’s press conference begins at 3pm BST tomorrow, August 4, with Quantum Break due to hit in spring 2016.
