Quan Chi, the tattooed sorcerer who first became a playable character back in Mortal Kombat 4, has been confirmed as the latest addition to the Mortal Kombat X roster.
Using powerful magic and cunning Quan Chi is able to destroy anyone who comes in his way. As the video below featuring NetherRealm Studios executive producer Shaun Himmerick explains, players have three gameplay styles available to them.
Choosing Sorcerer gives Quan Chi a spell casting ability, Warlock makes it possible to open dark portals, and Summoner type gives players a helping hand from a NetherRealm beast.
Quan Chi is the latest roster entry which already includes Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Kano, Raiden, Cassie Cage, D’Vorah, Ferra/Torr, and Kotal Kahn. Goro is also available to those who pre-order Mortal Kombat X.
The game launches April 14 for PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
