QuakeCon, Bethesda's annual showcase and fan event is getting a European counterpart later this year, the publisher has announced today.

It'll take place parallel to the main Dallas event across the same two days, July 26 and July 27 in London, UK at the Printworks venue with the first day being an 'Exclusive Preview Day' and day two reserved for the general public. Bethesda has also confirmed that the upcoming Doom Eternal will be playable at the event for the first time outside of North America.

Rather aptly, this year's QuakeCon is being touted as the 'Year of Doom'  -and Bethesda are also celebrating the 25th anniverary of the seminal shooter, so clearly there'll be a heavy Doom slant to this year's festivities. Best of all, tickets are free – just head over to the QuakeCon website to register for yours, but be fast as they're sure to be popular.
