Microsoft has announced several new titles which will be heading to Xbox LIVE Arcade in the future – the most exciting is probably Q Entertainment’s Rez.

First released on Dreamcast and later ported to the PlayStation 2, Rez is an action-shooter set in a fast-moving, wire-frame world backed by industrial beats. The game sees players enter deep into the world’s computer network where they must hack the system, altering the visual output and taking over the music. What this means for the player is ever changing visuals and audio.

The game has become a true cult classic and its arrival on Xbox LIVE Arcade complete with reworked audio and high definition visuals should go down a treat.

Rez will join Q Entertainment’s already released Lumines Live and the upcoming Every Extend Extra Extreme (E4) – a unique shooter where the goal is to perfectly time your self-destruction so to create chain reactions and destroy surrounding enemies.

No release date for either title has been announced.
