PUBG. Corp has rolled out a fresh update for the PC version of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, giving the Vikendi map a new makeover with the addition of the Northern Lights.
It's officially called Moonlight, but it's basically the Northern Lights. Pretty, ain't it? Still, the patch notes reveal that you'll still be able to use the brightness of the moon to detect enemies, so keep that in mind.
PUBG update 25 also throws in a bunch of new weapons, too. There's the Bizon, which is an SMG that fires 9mm ammo and is exclusive to the Erangel and Vikendi maps.
The chicken dinner-giving shooter has added a new Canted Sight ability, too. This can be attached to weapons with a secondary scope option, and functions with a variety of firearms including ARs, DMs, Shotguns, and LMGs.
Meanwhile, the Snowbike is the latest vehicle to join Vikendi, and is a faster (but less durable) version of the existing Snowmobile. Its addition now means the motorcycle will no longer spawn on this map.
In addition to the above, there's a bunch of gameplay improvements and other quality-of-life updates, so have a gander at the full patch notes here.
The PS4 version of PUBG also got an update this week, so give that a look while you're at it.
