Chicken dinner-giving shooter PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has coughed up a fresh patch today for Xbox One users, with update 13 offering another round of key bug fixes and optimisation tweaks.

For starters, Bluehole has been fiddling with the parachuting and free-fall mechanics in the game, which improves overall performance during these early game sequences. World loading has also been been enhanced, as have 'play-doh' and prop pop-in effects.

Elsewhere, movement of nearby but out-of-sight players has been updated so that it's now handled in a more 'efficient manner,' which also extends to cases where out-of-sight players equip or unequip a weapon.

Finally, some inventory issues have been ironed out resulting in faster response times when opening it, and performance issues caused by vacant boats and other vehicles has been fixed.

Yeah, it's hardly exciting stuff, but it should make the game run much better all the same.
Speaking of updates, the PC version of PUBG was also recently patched, so be sure to have a gander at those changes in our earlier story.
