After Tuesday’s news about publisher Tencent bringing PlayerUnknown Battlegrounds to mobile phones in China, today the first trailer has been released, and it looks a bit different to the game currently on Steam, to say the least.

While there’s recognisable elements from the game, there seems to be far more explosions and hi-octane action than even the parent game usually provides, with a chase on a motorbike quickly leading to a shootout against a helicopter, before a speedboat then gets into a naval battle with a battleship. Yup, you read that right.

Obviously it’s only a concept trailer rather than showing what the game will actually look like on mobile, but we also can’t help thinking it’s a little bit optimistic for what we should expect. Still, judge for yourself; sadly there doesn’t seem to be an official upload on Tencent’s YouTube channel for the trailer yet, so you’ll have to make do with this one until then.

If you’re fluent enough in Chinese, you can see more information on the game’s official website.
