PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds isn't the first thing that likely comes to mind when you're looking for a relief from the Great British Summer, but that's all set to change from tomorrow when the Dessert Van hits the roads across the UK.

Yep, the iconic old banger from PUBG's Miramar map will be dishing out free ice lollies to sweaty members of the public until mid-September.

We imagine chicken dinners were probably not an ideal choice in this weather, and probably too expensive to boot.

If the lure of lollies wasn't enough, every 100th customer to the Dessert Van will bag some PUBG freebies in addition to their icey treat, so keep that in mind when it rolls into town.

The PUB Dessert Van will be visiting locations from Brighton to Blackpool, and Microsoft's advised you to keep an eye on social channels like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to find out where the van is heading next.

The format holder also suggests you take a selfie with your ice lolly, so keep your phones handy as you could be in for a chance to win some Xbox-related prizes.

Those of you playing the PC version of PUBG will probably want to check out the latest update to hit the test servers, which adds limb penetration among other features.
