Eric Lempel, Director, PlayStation Network Operations, has posted over on the official PlayStation blog bringing word that PSP software update v4.00 is imminent.
The biggest new addition is the introduction of Google Internet search directly accessible from the XMB. For those who care about this sort of thing the search will deliver the same search results that you’d get at google.com and there will be a search history recall of 20 items.
The Internet search will be accessible from the Network section on the XMB and you’ll have to ensure you’re connected to a wireless internet connection.
Other new features in v4.00 include the ability to change viewing speed during playback of videos stored on a Memory Stick Pro Duo.
