The latest hardware sales figures from Japan are in and Sony’s PSP continues to outpace new kid on the block, the Nintendo 3DS.
PSP shifted 34,655 units, compared to only 18,324 units of the 3DS – the first time the new handheld has sold under 20,000 units in a week.
Overall, the picture isn’t rosy for console sales in Japan, with all platforms seeing drops compared to the previous week.
