All PlayStation 4 games will work on both the regular PS4 and the twice as powerful PS4 Pro, so how will you know which games take advantage of the extra grunt under the hood?
The answer is the PS4 Pro Enhanced icon, which will be found on PS4 software packaging. Details will also be found on the PlayStation Store.
“You can check PlayStation Store for games that take advantage of PS4 Pro specific features, or look for the PS4 Pro Enhanced icon on software packaging,” states Sony.
“PS4 Pro Enhanced features vary by game. Select titles may have enhanced visuals, frame rate, HDR 10 support, or increases in resolution.”
Some of the games which will sport the PS4 Pro Enhanced icon include Watch Dogs 2, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Horizon Zero Dawn and Mass Effect Andromeda.
