Some features of the PS4 will not be available at launch, Sony Computer Entertainment has confirmed.

Whilst the majority of features we’ve been promised will be patched into the system with software 1.5 update available at launch, the likes of “suspend/resume mode” won’t be ready for early adopters.

“Some features will not be available at launch, such as “suspend/resume mode” which is a feature that keeps the PS4 system in a low power state and promptly takes users back to their game,” wrote Sony in a new blog post. “We will provide additional information about system software update version 1.50 and features available at the PS4 system’s launch, and features that will be available after launch, in the near future.”

PS4 launches in the UK on November 29.
