PS4 System Software update 1.72 is now available, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has announced.

In a Tweet, SCEE wrote: “PS4 System Software update 1.72 is now available. Improves system software stability and incorporates minor bug fixes. Enjoy.”

A similar stability update for PS3, v4.60, has also been released.

Don’t expect anything earth shattering from either system update.
