PS4’s Suspend/Resume functionality is still in development, Sony has said, even though it won’t be included in tomorrow’s System Update 2.0.

Speaking to VideoGamer.com about the feature last week, SCEE’s VP of product planning Murray Hume explained that while “there’s nothing to announce today, we haven’t stopped working on it.”

Suspend/Resume was first revealed at PS4’s announcement last February, and is intended to allow players to put their console into a low-power state and resume progress immediately from where they left off.

A date for the feature has yet to be confirmed.
