PS4 console sales continue to drop off in Japan, dipping to 7,876 units – some two thousand units behind the Wii U’s weekly total – reports Media Create.

3DS was the week’s best seller, moving 27,338 units between June 30 and July 6. PS Vita shifted 20,655 units, Wii U 9,961 units, PS4 7,876 units and PS3 closely following with 7,511 units.

PS4 has sold 628,495 units since its launch on February 22, but shifted 370,000 of these units in the ten days following its launch.

Watch Dogs is the PS4’s weekly best-seller with only 12,783 copies, bringing its total to 76,378.

PS4 has a new entry at No.17 in the shape of Akiba’s Trip: Undead & Undressed, a game in which players must defeat demons – which look a lot like young women – by taking their clothes off. Really.

Meanwhile Mario Kart 8 for Wii U sold 19,386 copies bringing its life-to-date figure to 512,223.
