Sega has heavily indicated that the PlayStation 4 remasters of Yakuza 3, 4, and 5 will be hitting the UK and US at some point.

The company announced last week that all three games were getting re-released in Japan between summer 2018 and spring 2019. However, there was no mention of a western release.

Speaking during a recent live stream (translated on Resetera) however, Yakuza series overlord Toshihiro Nagoshi said that the remasters are aimed at 'new overseas fans,' which implies they will eventually make their way over here.

We'd probably not get too excited just in case; Sega hasn't come out with an official statement, so hold off on cracking your knuckles for now.

Still, we can't see why it wouldn't happen. Yakuza 6: The Song of Life recorded some record sales for the series in the west, and we've also gotten Yakuza Zero and Yakuza Kiwami to boot.

There's also the fact Yakuza Kiwami 2 is on the horizon, so why not have all games in one place? As Del Boy would say, 'you know it makes sense.' And he'd be right.
