A Redditor going by Sliye, who claims to work at US retailer Target, has snapped a photo of a boxed, golden PS4. It’s, um. Lovely? The box shown lists the model at 1TB, and Sliye says they’re officially on sale from June 9.
The golden PS4’s existence was later corroborated by another Redditor named Christopher_Maxim, who also managed to get a photo while in a Walmart store. Said store had apparently whacked them out on the shop floor early, and when he tried to buy one the register ‘locked up’, at which point the staff realised their mistake.
