Sony Computer Entertainment America has announced that a new PS3 firmware is available now. Firmware v2.52 is, however, a minor update so don’t get really excited and rush off to get it downloaded.
According to a post over on the official PlayStation Blog, the update improves the playback quality of some PS3 format software and fixes a text entry issue that occurs when using the on-screen keyboard, USB keyboard or Bluetooth keyboard.
