Perhaps the most interesting information to come from Ken Kutaragi’s keynote address was news that Sony intends to allow gamers to download and play emulated PS2, PSone, Mega Drive and PC Engine games on the PS3. Initially only titles small in size (size in Megabytes, not game length) will be offered, but as technology progresses bulkier titles will be offered.
There was no information regarding the initial titles to be made available, or when the service would go live.
