The PlayStation Vita saw a huge 157 per cent increase in sales week on week in Japan thanks to the release of Persona 4: The Golden.

Vita sales jumped from 13,383 copies to 34,459 units, no doubt almost entirely down to the release of Atlus’ Persona 4 which sold 137,076 copies.

Nintendo’s 3DS remains the clear leader with 61,793 units sold.

The software Top 20 also sees a new entry for Lollipop Chainsaw. The PS3 version sold 53,347 copies at N.3, while the Xbox 360 version charted at No.9 with 14,422 copies sold.
