A leak has revealed one of the upcoming PS Plus October 2025 Extra games, and, fortunately, it is a horror masterpiece perfect for Halloween. The PS Plus October 2025 Essential games are now available to claim, and they include the brilliant Alan Wake 2, Goat Simulator 3, and Cocoon. We know Tomb Raider Anniversary is set to join PS Plus Premium and the PSN store later this month, but now the first Extra addition has leaked.

PS Plus October 2025 Extra game leak

Reliable leaker, billbil-kun via dealabs, has leaked the Silent Hill 2 Remake for PS Plus Extra October 2025. It will join on October 21st, “barring any last-minute surprises”.

Assuming billbil-kun is accurate as usual, this is a fantastic addition for Extra subscribers. The Silent Hill 2 Remake is a flawless, faithful adaptation of the 2001 classic, and it is one of the best games for Halloween.

It’s been an eventful period for Silent Hill fans. Silent Hill f sold over one million copies in just three days, and Bloober Team are officially developing a remake of the first Silent Hill, with rumors claiming they are also planning a remake of Silent Hill 3. And, as if all this wasn’t enough, rumors further claim that the Born From A Wish Silent Hill 2 DLC is coming, likely releasing “around the window” of the new movie set for next year.

Aside from the SH2 Remake, all we know about PS Plus October 2025 Extra and Premium is the addition of Tomb Raider Anniversary PS2. The full Extra and Premium lineup should be confirmed on October 15th, so we don’t have too long to wait for Sony’s announcement.

In other PS Plus news, Control Ultimate Edition has just received a major free update adding a Hideo Kojima mission, and PS Plus’ highest tier is now $200 cheaper than Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
