O-Games has announced ProStroke Golf: World Tour for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, the follow-up to ProStroke Golf: World Tour 2007 which released on PS2, PC, Xbox and PSP back in 2006.
The selling point of the first game was its realistic golf physics and developer Gusto Games is hoping to build on this for the sequel.
David Wiltshire O-Games producer commented; “ProStroke Golf’s control and physics were unrivalled in video games golf and truly delivered a realistic golfing experience. We’ve been hard at work for some time now to bring ProStroke to the PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles to continue the success of the brand and build on the success of the product.”
The game will feature a number of licensed courses and five different play modes.
Wilshire added: “There will be some big announcements shortly surrounding ProStroke that are very exciting.”
ProStroke Golf: World Tour is currently lined-up for release in October.
