Last weekend saw Pro-G’s Halo 2 tournament, organised to celebrate the impending launch of the new Pro-G coming this week, plus four years of Microsoft’s Xbox in Europe. With over 150 entrants, players took part in play-offs on day one, the winners of which moved on to the semi-finals and final on day two.

The finalists were as follows:

1. atr Lethal – Kills: 80

2. The One 1988 – Kills :56

3. Yoshi2085 – Kills: 56

4. LSS Chrome – Kills: 55

5. Ninja Boy UK – Kills: 8

6. Guardians 999 – Kills: 1

Full stats for the final can be found on Bungie’s website.

Atr Lethal took a clear victory with an impressive 80 kills, with his closest two rivals managing 56 kills each. LSS Chrome took fourth place with 55 kills (killing the game ref doesn’t count, sorry!) and Ninja Boy UK managed to claim the final runners-up spot with 8 kills. Sadly for Guardians 999, 1 kill wasn’t enough to earn a runners-up prize, but getting to the final is an achievement in itself.

The One 1988, Yoshi2085, LSS Chrom and Ninja Boy UK each win a copy of Dead or Alive Ultimate on the Xbox, with atr Lethal taking home Dead or Alive Ultimate, Shattered Union and Call of Cthulhu on Xbox, plus Amped 3 on Xbox 360. All the finalists will also be given an exclusive status on the new Pro-G Forums.

Well done to those that made the final, and thanks to everyone that took part. We now wait with baited breath for the launch of the new site this week, so stay tuned!
