After this morning’s leak, it’s been made official: Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 is out on September 14 on PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360.

This is said to be the biggest advancement in Pro Evolution Soccer in quite some time as the game introduces a few major things like Real Touch + where players will be able to control the ball using their chest, head and legs, depending on the height and pace of the ball being played. Set pieces have also been rejigged, with penalties being specifically mentioned in Konami’s press release.

Lighting is said to have been improved, as are players’ individual movements and, brilliantly, even the way kits fit on different physiques.

myClub makes a return, and the ever-popular Master League now includes a new transfer system, and the ability to play in pre-season tournaments, as well as pre-match interviews. No access to Instagram accounts, sadly.

If 22 men on the pitch is a bit confusing for you, there’s now a 2-Vs-2 and 3-Vs-3 co-op option for local play.

One thing that will please PC players is that Konami has stated the PC version will be up to ‘the standard of the leading console iterations.’

PES has been on an incredible streak over the last few years, here’s hoping Konami can continue that with PES 2018.
