Forbes reports that Microsoft has been forced to postpone the launch of Xbox LIVE Primetime to spring 2009, rather than launching as part of the New Xbox Experience on November 19.

According to the Forbes article Microsoft has chosen to delay Primetime in order to ensure a smooth launch of the New Xbox Experience – presumably needing all hands on deck to get the new interface out the door on time.

Xbox LIVE Primetime was to launch with a virtual version of game show 1 vs. 100, although Forbes now anticipates additional virtual shows will be readied to support the spring 2009 launch.
