Bethesda and Arkane has announced that Update v1.05 will soon be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC. It’s said that the update should be live on all formats at some point today, if not already. Update v1.05 should fix 30+ different issues, most importantly fixing the PS4 / PS4 Pro stuttering and screen tearing issues, that began to plague the game not long after release.

This is quite the comprehensive patch from Arkane, which targets multiple bugs and crashes that have afflicted the game across all formats. The biggest issue, which should hopefully be addressed once and for all in this update, has been the PS4 / PS4 Pro stuttering and screen tearing issues, which Digital Foundry reported on back in June. These issues came to prominence following the release of patch 1.04, which added PS4 Pro enhancements, and promptly ruined the games performance for both base PS4 and Pro owners.

Hopefully now players will be able to play the game unhindered, and Prey will get some recognition for actually being a good game, rather than one blighted with bugs and issues.
