Arkane Studios announced that Prey is getting DLC with new enemies, hazards and loot, and it's all set on the moon.

According to the official blurb from Bethesda, 'players can now take the battle beyond Talos I with Mooncrash – a new DLC that sends players to a secret TranStar base and pits them against the Typhon aliens in an infinitely replayable rogue-like campaign.'

In Mooncrash you play as a hacker called Peter and are tasked with heading to TranStar's moon base to check out why it's stopped tranmitting.

'Trapped on the station and bound by a ruthless contract with TranStar rival KASMA Corp, Peter’s only hope of seeing his family again is uncovering the moon base’s lost secrets. Against all odds, Peter must escape a TranStar base rife with enemies and hazards… with the goals – and loot – changing each time you play. The further you go, the better the loot – and the better your chances for survival in your next spin through Mooncrash'

Your aim is to get off the moon in what's aptly titled Mooncrash. It's also available tonight.

Mooncrash is available now for $19.99 for those that own Prey, or new players can pick up Prey: Digital Deluxe, which has the base game and DLC.

As well as that there are three free updates: Story Mode, 'for those looking to casually experience the game’s immersive narrative,' a Survival Mode, which sounds like it makes the game an awful lot harder; and of course, New Game +.

Typhon Hunter was also announced during the show and is coming later this year. It's a multiplayer mode where one player will take on five other players who can pose as mimics.

We got a brief look at gameplay, with some added Dead or Alive music behind it. It was wonderful.
