CNN Money has reported that Prey, the FPS from 3D Realms that was due for release in the late 90s, is to make an appearance at this year’s E3. Unsurprisingly the game has had a bit of a makeover and is said to be running on id Software’s Doom 3 engine. Also new is the development team which, according to CNN, is Human Head Studios, the firm behind the Rune games.

Whether or not the game has kept its bizarre story of a Native American’s battle against alien invaders remains to be seen. Hopefully all will be revealed at E3 in the middle of May.
