Customers who pre-order Gauntlet, a modernised version of the classic dungeon crawler, will receive a free digital comic, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced.
Gauntlet: Darkness Calls from DC Entertainment details the origins of vile master Morak.
Those who pre-order through selected retailers will also receive unique, in-game weapons.
Gauntlet, developed by Arrowhead Game Studios, promises to innovate on past titles while staying true to the brand’s legendary dungeon-crawler format. Players select from four classic fantasy-based characters: Warrior, Wizard, Valkyrie, or Elf.
Both the comic and game will be available on September 3. In addition to a PC release, a SteamOS version will also launch later in the year.
