From House House, the people who brought you Push Me Pull You, a game I found unaccountably terrifying, comes Untitled Goose Game. It’s due out in 2018, and it may be everything we all needed right now.
The pitch for this is ‘It’s a lovely weekday morning in the village and you are a horrible goose.’ In the pre-alpha gameplay trailer we see said goose leaving the pond to ruin a groundskeeper’s day. The goose has a to do list of misbehaviour, including stealing the groundskeeper’s keys, making him wear his sun hat, and getting him wet.
The goose uses all manner of tricks to do this, can pick up or drag almost anything, and there appear to be some innately hilariously stealth mechanics. Game of the century, surely. Pack up. Go home everyone. We’re done.
