It’s Morphin’ Time! After first hitting screens over 30 years ago, Power Rangers has seen a revival with games such as 2017’s Battle for the Grid and the Netflix Once and Always show hitting screens last year. Gamers will be able to wear their spandex outfits and call in the Mega Zords once again as the latest game takes players back in time to 1993.

During Summer Games Fest a brand new Power Rangers game titled Rita’s Rewind was announced. The game looks to take players back to the past with it looking like it came right from the 16-bit era similar to the SNES and Mega Drive games from 1994. It even looks like the boss sprites were based on the game as the Bones boss characters look incredibly similar.

Power Rangers Rita’s Rewinds has been modernized compared to the games from 30 years ago, with new level types including the Rangers riding a rollercoaster and driving levels using the motorcycles that only appeared a handful of times, although they were more commonly used in the Japanese source-series Super Sentai.
