Valve has announced that the first downloadable content for smash hit first-person puzzler Portal 2 will arrive starting October 4. The pack, titled, Portal 2: Peer Review, will be a free download on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
Peer Review lets you continue the story of robots P-Body and Atlas in a new co-op test track. The DLC also includes a single-player and co-op Challenge Mode that lets you compare scores with the Portal community.
Portal 2 earned a superb 10/10 in our Portal 2 review from earlier in the year.
While it’s unlikely to start a trend, it’s great that Valve will release the DLC at no charge. Considering we’ve seen other publishers demand money for minor cosmetic changes in games, it’ll be interesting to see how much content Peer Review delivers.
