After a Youtube video caused a flurry of curiosity and modest hype a few weeks ago, an official website for Wii game Pollen Sontana has just been launched, featuring a downloadable concept demo for the PC.

The game, in development by a Belgian studio so small they do not appear to have a name, is something like Pilotwings with more heady artistic ambitions. It sees you piloting various forms of pollen, riding the wind, rolling across flowers and hitching lifts with insects.

Despite not yet having a publisher, the game has all the right credentials as a slightly leftfield, eccentric title, that could see it follow in the hugely successful footsteps of previous gaming oddities We Love Katamari and LocoRoco.

Head over to Pro-G TV to see the game in motion, albeit in a very early form.
