Swedish police raided an apartment on Saturday night after receiving reports of gunfire – only to find a group of teenagers playing Call of Duty.

The incredible mishap allegedly occurred after one of the game’s characters was shot and left screaming for help, which was overheard by passers by.

Thinking it was real, the passers by contacted police, who dispatched a 10-man unit to carry out a raid on the house.

No arrests were made after the teenagers explained they were playing a video game.

But thank goodness they were playing Call of Duty. What would the neighbours have thought had they overheard them playing Dead or Alive?
