Free-to-play MOBA Pokémon Unite has added Blissey as its latest character, with the egg-carrying monster available from today.

A Support character, Blisseys moves are based around healing and increasing the attack speed of their teammates. Meanwhile, Blissey’s Unite Move is Bliss Assistance, which sees them rush to an ally’s aid and protects them from all attacks.

The character also arrives alongside the latest update for the game. Changes include balance fixes to several Pokemon such as the cooldown being reduced on Crustle’s Stealth Rock. Elsewhere, Garchomp has had his movement speed changed, while Snorlax sees his damage dealt from his Heavy Slam reduced. You can check out the full patch notes on the Pokémon Unite website.

Pokémon Unite launched for Nintendo Switch last month and will be heading to mobile phones in September. While we’ve not formally reviewed it, our Josh has spent some time with the game and reported back his findings here. He said: “The oddly specific formula of the series—ensnaring critters and training them in the ways of warfare, while making friends and dreaming of furthering one’s career prospects—has proven remarkably adaptable.”

Check out Blissey’s overview trailer for yourself below. Blissey, along with the game’s latest update, is available from today in Pokémon Unite for the Nintendo Switch.
