Developed by Genius Sonority Inc, Pokèmon Trozei sounds like your average game of lining up blocks of the same colour so that they are removed from the playing area, but with the added “Gotta Catch ‘Em All” notion of the Pokèmon franchise. The story goes something like this: The player takes on the role of Lucy Fleetfoot, a secret agent for Secret Agent Operations League (SOL), and your mission is to rescue the stolen Pokèmon from the evil organisation Phobos Battalion.

Using the stylus you must line up Pokèmon puzzle pieces to get lines of four (horizontal or vertical). This is known as a Trozei and adds the Pokèmon to your Trozei list, clearing the Pokèmon pieces from the game area. You can also build up Trozei chain reactions by lining up three in a row, and then two in a row immediately following the first Trozei. This will then clear all the linked pieces from the game area.

While your primary goal is to prevent the game area from filling and ending the game, your other objective is to complete your Trozei List. There are over 380 Pokèmon to add to your list, with some harder to Trozei than others.

The game features two single-player and two multiplayer game modes. The multiplayer modes include a one-on-one battle mode and a co-op mode where you work with a friend. Players can increase their chances of finding rare Pokèmon by taking part in the multiplayer games, and can also use the Agent Cafè and Espionage Mode to exchange Agent Cards.

The game is scheduled for release on March 6 in the US, but currently no release date has been announced for Europe.
