Pokken Tournament, a new fighting game which blends Tekken and the ‘got to catch ’em all’ pocket monster series, is in development for the arcades at Bandai Namco’s Tekken team.
Katsuhiro Harada, head of the Tekken team said: “Whether you are a causal player, a regular player or a hardcore player, anyone who likes Pokemon can have fun.”
The game will launch in Japanese arcades in 2015, but there’s no word on a Western release or indeed if the title will appear on consoles.
Pokken Tournament was hinted at late last year when trademarks for Pokken Fighters and Pokken Tournament were discovered.
