After the epic clusterf*** that was the Pokemon GO fest, where everything went completely crazy and nobody could access the servers, Niantic has confirmed that the Pokemon Go Fest rewards from the Chicago event have been extended. This extends the deadline for claiming the six bonuses to July 28, for us folks in good ol’ Blighty.
Niantic haven’t provided an explanation for the extension, posting on its Twitter saying ‘Trainers, the global rewards unlocked during #PokemonGOFest have been extended 72 hours. They will now end at 5:00 P.M. PDT on July 27’.

For the UK folks, that means that the new rewards won’t end until around 1am, which gives you plenty of time to build up your horde of collectible rewards. So in the wise words of Ellie Goulding, ‘what are you waiting for?’.
