GAME has sold out of its PlayStation VR launch day stock, around three weeks after the device was made available to pre-order.

“Please note: All PlayStation VR pre-orders placed after 8th April 2016 are not guaranteed for launch,” reads a note on the PS VR product page.

All new pre-orders are now listed with the title, “PlayStation VR (Phase 2 Pre-Order)”.

Rival retailer Amazon appeared to sell out of its launch stock in a matter of hours.

PlayStation VR launches this October priced £349.99, but requires users have a PlayStation 4 Camera, itself priced £39.99. PlayStation Move controllers are optional, however.
