Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has announced the launch of PlayStation Store for PC. This gives non-PS3 owning PSP users the ability to access the store and its wealth of content. Access is free, although as with the PS3 version of the store full game titles do come at a cost.

Launch content is abundant, including a mix of original PlayStation Network titles, PSP games, PSone games, demos, trailers, themes and wallpapers. Although accessed on a PC the downloaded content must be transferred to a PSP via a USB connection in order to function.

As with the PlayStation 3 Store expect regular updates each Thursday.
