PlayStation Plus members can look forward to a selection of strong titles for free in January, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has announced.

Coming to PS3 on January 2 are BioShock 2, Guardians of Middle-earth and Mortal Kombat, the latter being replaced by Gotham City Imposters in Australia and Germany.

PS Vita gamers will receive Jet Set Radio and Pinball Arcade for free on January 16 and January 23, respectively.

All the new content means the older titles will have to make way, so be sure to check the list below for any games you’re yet to download.

Leaving PS Plus:

  • 2nd January – Batman: Arkham City
  • 2nd January – Bulletstorm
  • 2nd January – Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition
  • 16th January – Mortal Kombat (PS Vita)
  • 23rd January – Knytt Underground

Beginning today an annual PS Plus membership is being offered at a 25% reduced rate, meaning a year will set you back £29.99. The offer is valid until January 9 and is good for new members and those wishing to extend their current membership.
