A PlayStation App set to be released around the time of PlayStation 4’s launch will let players use their iOS or Android device to purchase PS4 games and download them directly to their console at home.
The companion app turns iPhone, iPad or Android-based smartphones and tablets into a second screen for your PS4, letting players purchase titles from PlayStation Store remotely, chat with PSN friends, watch their friends’ gameplay videos or “give them game tips”.
PlayStation 4’s hardware was revealed during Sony’s E3 conference last night. The next-gen console is due to go on sale this Christmas for £349.
